After High School (Gymnasium) I did my civil service at Haus Siebenbürgen in Drabenderhöhe where I took care of retired residents. After it I participated in a three-month school-exchange program to Canada in order to bridge the time until the start of the semester.I obtained two Bachelor's degrees (mathematics and physics) and a Master's degree in physics. Meanwhile I held tutorials on a regular basis where I corrected and graded weekly exercise sheets, presented and discussed their solutions, and answered general questions to the lecture. During my PhD I continue to hold one tutorial per semester and supervise (scientificly) younger students and colleagues during their bachelor, master and even PhD theses. Towards the end of my PhD I was several times head tutor. This means that I was responsible for the creation of exercise sheets, the organization of the tutorials and the communication interface between students and tutors with the professor. Especially during the Corona-online semester 2020 this was very challenging, since the previously established methods had to be reworked and made available online.In addition I am responsible for everything concerning the IT of our working group. I set up new machines, connect them to the institute's network server and take care that new programs are installed and the system is updated. I am also addressed by colleagues with computer problems of any kind and help with their solution. Currently I am performing the migration from CentOS7 to Debian12 on all of our machines. Here, the execution and compatibility of all programs and projects has to be guaranteed.
