•Supported sourcing activities for market pulp category, responsible for over $500MM annual spend and supply to GP’s 13 consumer product mills making tissue, towel, and napkin products •Led supply planning for Georgia Pacific's consumer product mills, collaborating closely with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to effectively manage and plan rail and truck freight operations across 6 ports spanning the east/west coast and Gulf regions.•Conducted comprehensive analysis using mill receiving capabilities, freight costs, and supplier constraints as inputs to maintain an efficient supply chain for mills, presented findings and recommendations to mill stakeholders to optimize operations.•Developed and implemented standardized documentation for the best practices receiving process at the mills, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring consistent workflows across locations.•Oversaw invoice reconciliation in SAP S4/HANA as the centralized buyer for 13 unique locations, ensuring timely payment of purchase orders to capture discounts at 95% rate.•Proactively managed risk mitigation efforts during the disruptive events caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the smooth flow of supplies and minimizing any potential disruptions to the supply chain.
