Being a professional in the field of insurance requires engagement, competence, innovation and efficiency. It is an individual governance and without it, the evolution in this field would not have been possible. I have analyzed, throughout my experience in the execution and management positions I have held in the field of insurance, what are the events that can lead to success but also to the collapse of a company. With a background in management as a bachelor of the Faculty of Management from ASE and Master’s degree in Management and Investment Assessment, I continued my studies because it was necessary to have a theoretical support, as a background to the daily activities carried out in the positions that I held. The responsibilities of a manager are beside coordination and control, also to prevent and mitigate the risks to which the business is leading is exposed. Starting with 2014, I begun my doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management of the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. My thesis has the theme: "Managerial models for decision-making and strategic action on operational risk management in the insurance industry."I strongly believe that efficiency in task fulfillment, the desire to achieve performance and to develop the horizon of knowledge, could lead to the real professional success.
