This covers the following topics:o Maintaining Switchgear & High Voltage circuit breakerso Maintaining High voltage transformerso Maintaining AC machines (High voltage motors and Generator sets – 480V) o Gutor UPS systemo Cyberex UPS systemo Auto transfer switch (ATS)o Troubleshooting a PLC systemo Troubleshootingaplantcontrolsystem• Good Knowledge with engineering drawings (Block, SLD, Schematics, Ladder) diagram.• Working experience in international engineering standards (SAES, NEC, NEMA, NETA)• Cross training with Post Phase Training courses (MOV, Cathodic Protection, BatteryMaintenance, Maintenance Planner).• Training electricians to perform several electrical tests such as (IR, Megger, HiPot, TTR,DLRO etc.)• Cross training with some vendors for special courses.• Coordinate with plant personnel for on-site training and field trips.• Perform Quarterly Safety Inspection (QSI).• Perform other training and training related duties assigned by Supervisor.

• Review Quality Documentation (ITP, Procedures, Drawings & Vendor Data Sheets, MaterialSpecifications and other Quality related documents submitted by Implementation Contractors)Pertaining to Electrical activities.• Inspection of various Materials & Equipment procured.• Perform Routine Surveillance, Quality Control Inspection of construction activities at variousInspection Stages such as Pre-Installation, Installation & Pre-Commissioning, Final Inspection forvarious electrical equipment.• Also initiates RFI, internal surveillance reports and NCR’s. coordinate closely withCONTRACTOR to minimize work interference due to engineering or construction qualityproblems.• Witness various Electrical Tests and verify the Subcontractor’s Test Reports.• Promptly report unresolved quality deficiencies to QC Supervisor/Manager for further action.• In-charge of Quality Inspection for the process and final completion procedure conforming perapproved.• Project Specification and Standard prior to final acceptance and hand-over to the Client.• Implement Safety and Quality of works to ensure guaranteed services and satisfaction of client.• Participation on Internal Quality Audits.• Issue of NCRs and implementing the corrective actions in conformance with the client’s standards& Specs.• Preparation / Evaluation of Test Packages; Punch list preparation and clearance with clients.• Preparation / Evaluation of As-Built Drawings; Preparation of Final Dossiers.• Ability to coordinate all activities to meet requirements in a timely Manner. Coordinating with allQA/QC disciplines to handover all possible documents for Turnover.

• Ensuring and coordinating with client and company that all electrical engineering work is carriedout in accordance with specifications, statutory requirements, standard regulations and othercontractual requirements. With due regards to safety, operability and maintainability• Quantity surveying for project control in electrical works as per approved drawings.• Prepare red line drawing in IFC as per the modified in the site condition for final as-built drawingin I-Plant.• Implementation of the Erection activities with the client, supervise the erection activities HV/LVpanel erections, Control panels, etc.• Co-ordinate HV/LV cables laying & various types cable laying and installation electricalequipment isolator, light fittings, switches – sockets, etc.• Coordination with vendors for specific jobs.• Project coordination, supervision and monitoring site construction progress of work on site withCost Efficient.• To follow the project schedule & delivering projects on time within budget, Prepare the progressclaims.• Responsible for the completion of all documentation.• Involved in Earthing and grounding of motors and transformers and vessels and all electricalequipment• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site.• Conduct Regular Inspection, Surveillances Monitoring to all Electrical, telecom Instrumentationrelated scope of work in conformance to Customer/Client specifications, standards, related tomaterial receiving inspection, installation and pre-commissioning of materials & equipment suchas: switchgear, MCC, Transformers, UPS, Battery chargers, LV Panel Boards, cable ladders/trays,lighting Receptacles, grounding, HV/MV/LV cables (including glanding &termination), LCS,electrical duct banks, conduit, junction boxes etc.• Manage directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical workgroups atsite.
