Selected to be a mentor for the Nextflow and nf-core joint mentorship program with the aim of improving outreach and training in underrepresented groups and areas. Meet with mentee weekly to demonstrate and collaboratively develop an understanding of the nextflow programing language and nf-core community guidelines. Performed basic procedures on animals such as vaccinations and suture removals. Interpreted charts to determine what procedures were necessarily and invoiced the client accordingly. Explained to clients any procedures that were completed and follow up care that may be needed.
