Como profesora de tiempo completo de preparatoria estuve a cargo de las materias relativas a las Ciencias Biológicas y Experimentales e Inglés básico. Impartí clases y prácticas de laboratorio para Biología, Química, Ciencias de la Salud y sus temas selectos, así como Geografía y Ecología.

I was part of a cohort of 92 externs that represented more than 17 countries, we were selected from a group of more than 2,000 candidates. During this experience, I learned about freshwater conservation issues and approaches through resources and case studies provided by National Geographic (NGS) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC).I also had the opportunity to speak to local leaders, conservationists, community members, and experts from NGS/TNC to gain a deep understanding of freshwater conservation issues and their impact on the local community.I created compelling written and visual storytelling to communicate the local freshwater conservation issues and the ways in which communities can help. I was one of the eight externs selected to show their storytelling during the final presentations of the program to NGS and TNC company members.This was a very enriching experience that let me collaborate with and learn from people all around the world.

I participated in a project that aimed to learn the effects of agarose on the metabolism of breast cancer cells (MDA-MB 231). I was in charge of running Western Blots, cultivating cells, and restocking the solutions required for the molecular techniques whenever it was needed.
