Worked on four main projects; successfully achieved the following:- Designed, built, and tested two high‑performance transmit and receive phased‑arrays for SATCOM applications.- Designed, built, and tested two low‑cost phased‑arrays for point‑to‑point and SATCOM applications.- Designed, built, and tested several high‑performance beamformer channels using 45nm CMOS SOI technology.- Worked on a self‑test and self‑calibration technique suitable for scalable dual‑polarized SATCOM phased‑array receivers.

- Designed and measured of Ku‑band dual‑polarized receive‑only (Rx) and transmit‑only (Tx) phased‑arrays with 256‑elements, near‑ideal performance, scalable compact size, low‑profile, and ultra‑lightweight for affordable Ku‑band SATCOM terminals.- Designed a scalable transmit phased‑array to meet the FCC (p25.226) rules for Vehicle‑ Mounted Earth Stations (VMESs).- Developed an affordable and reliable PCB stack‑up for SATCOM phased array with high yield and minimal calibration.- Designed and measured K‑band phased‑array beamformer channels with a novel 8‑bit phase shifter and low phase imbalance gain control using 45nm CMOS SOI technology.

- Design and measurement of several stable packaged single‑ended K‑band low noise amplifiers (LNAs) for a K‑band SATCOM phased‑array receiver in GF 45nm RFSOI and Jazz process technologies.- Demonstration of a simplified simulation schematic that accurately represents the packaging effects on amplifiers in a shorter time than the full 3D EM simulation model.

Worked on three main projects; successfully achieved the following:- Designed clock generator of 102.4 kHz to be used in accelerometer interface ASIC; created layout; posted layout simulation; taped‑out it in GLOBALFOUNDRIES 180nm CMOS process.- Executed top‑level verification of accelerometer interface ASIC; prepared test plans for blocks, and tested ASICs in lab.- Created top level layouts and taped‑out first three ICs from KACST in LF150nm RF CMOS process of L Foundry.- Designed voltage‑control oscillator (VCO) to provide output frequencies from 17.2 GHz to 18.8GHz; created layout; posted layout simulation; taped‑out it in TSMC 90nm RF CMOS process.- Completed EM analysis and simulation of inductors and capacitors in RF design using sonnet software.- Experience with: Matlab, Labview, Linux, Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Sonnet Software, Advanced Design System (ADS)
