A lot of factors go into this process including: • Identification of the target tenant mix to ensure that concepts were sophisticated, yet appropriate and that facilities were aligned with the requirements of a commercial audience • Analysis of the asset mix across commercial, industrial and residential units to customize new development plans, and ultimately contribute to greater interest and demand • Making accurate judgments and assumptions on capital expenditures and costs required to bring new ideas to life in order to validate economic feasibility

During my time at LREDC I was mainly involved in the development of the Lusail City project in Doha, a 35 km² expansion north of the city which includes residential and office buildings, mixed-use developments, educational facilities, retail spaces and public areas.Roles and responsibilities:• Developing design guidelines that are in tune with, interpret, and embrace theclients’ vision and advocating a shortlist of qualified architectural design firmsthat are optimal for the client's vision and requirements.• Reviewing, evaluating and critiquing architectural submissions in addition to ensuring compliance with building codes, safety codes, and standards.• Managing the design through all stages of design and construction by coordinating architectural design with all related engineering disciplines.
