• Shaped and integrated National Guard response in concert with the United States Coast Guard, State, and local agencies, during the Deep-Water Horizon Oil Spill response operations from April to June 2010 achieving all.
• Organized and developed a new trained and responsive staff focused on responding to State emergency declarations. The new capability was put into action two weeks after standup to support the largest natural disaster.
• Lead training and exercise planner supporting the National Guard and State Emergency Management Agency annual Hurricane exercise in 2011 and 2012, ensuring readiness and synchronization across the two agencies. Plans.
• Developed and validated the Alabama National Guards reception plan to receive and integrate sister States capabilities required to support emergency operations in the State.

Washington D.C. Metro Area

• Coordinated and assisted in the development capabilities support matrices with the 54 States and Territories, to provide a common understanding of capabilities available to support contingency operations on a regional.
• Developed the National Guard Bureau liaison program to provide the States and Territories a tailorable element capable of filling critical staff shortfalls and providing expertise in the areas of logistics.
• Developed, coordinated, and implemented over 150 Emergency Management Assistance Compacts supporting the multi-state, multi-agency disaster response to Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma which provided responsive.

Fort Monroe, VA

• Worked meticulously with Local, State, and Interagency partners to plan, develop, coordinate and execute 6 National level and 4 internal exercise events that ensured the Command was fully trained and able to respond to.
• Developed, coordinated and provided fiscal management and execution of the command’straining and exercise programs accounting for a yearly 2.1 million dollar account with zero deficiencies ensuring adequate resourcing.
