I actively promote the MCFP to existing and potential academic and industry users through seminars, workshops, and liaising with external partnerships and networks. I maintain the Platform's website and LinkedIn network, creating and delivering high-quality content to engage new researchers with Platform capabilities, fostering new collaborative opportunities.

I manage the electron and ion microscopy (SEM and HIM), vibrational spectroscopy (Raman and FTIR), and X-ray characterisation (XRD and XRF) capabilities within MCFP. I am actively training researchers, transferring and developing knowledge in materials characterisation, and seek out and engage new collaborative academic and industry research projects.

I was an integral part of a project team to establish, implement and roll-out a University-wide booking system for our Research Platforms. I lead the Community of Practice at the University, engaging with existing and newly onboarded research platforms to establish a collaborative network of staff and users that facilitated communication into the project, and the creation of community standards, recommendations, and user guide documents and videos.

As a Surface Scientist at the Centre for Materials and Surface Science at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia, I operated a number of surface analysis instruments, including Kratos AXIS Ultra and Nova, Iontof ToF-SIMS V and Physical Electronics 710 Scanning Auger.

At the National EPSRC XPS Users' Service (NEXUS) I held a Senior Research Associate position where I managed and operated a number of surface analysis instruments, including three XPS instruments, a hybrid XPS/SEM/STM, and a Zeiss ORION NanoFab helium ion microscope. I supervise a number of research students, both undergraduate and postgraduate (Masters). I also co-supervise a PhD student who is focused on vacuum science and engineering in support of Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy facilities as part of NEXUS.

Managing the surface analysis and plasma modification laboratory at the Centre for Nanoscale Science and Technology at Flinders University. This involved operating and maintaining the Leybold LHS-10 X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer and an in-house built radio-frequency inductively-coupled plasma reactor.

I presented a set of undergraduate first year physics lectures surrounding classical and Newtonian mechanics, laws of motion, and friction. This was typically to an audience of 100+ students studying a wide range of courses for where a fundamental understanding of physics was a pre-requisite.
