Builds the capability of all Associates to successfully perform their job function. Works flexible schedule to ensure Associates receive required training and certifications. Plans, schedules, and executes all required and company approved positional training. Works with the Store's leadership team to identify performance, and works with the Associate to improve their performance through coaching and training. Stays current with company systems, tools and initiatives by participating in all company training. Maintains training log and proactively works with other managers to schedule appropriate training for associates. Approves activities of associate development within approved budget. Coordinates with leadership team to ensure that training needs are aligned with business objectives, outcomes can be measures, and associates have the training needed to be the most professional in the industry.

Operate a computerized point of sale cash register and inventory management system including: the accurate entering of sales information, receiving payment for products, processing credit card transactions, making correct change, processing refunds, exchanges and voids, and issuing gift cards and credit slips. Reconciled daily sales and prepared deposits and end of day reports for management. Utilized a working knowledge of all retail merchandise including price, any special product considerations, stock location in store, and in the back stockroom. Accurately performed all merchandise receipt processing, including merchandise inspection, tagging, stocking, and display. Communicated all damages to store management. Actively maintained the store appearance, including keeping merchandise neatly organized, attractively displayed, and arranged merchandise to maintain the highest level of visual presentation.

Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balanced each day's transactions and verified cash totals. Performed a variety of member services functions, such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking accounts problems. Answered members questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performed a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sold Credit Union services. Performed specific assigned side-jobs, including various clerical and receptionist duties with the Loan department. Assisted other Member Service Representatives with duties as required. Served members promptly and professionally.
