I was an assistant for my Professor, Dr. James Gillett's research in the projects "Seniors of Canada" and "Learning from each other: Ontario libraries and older adult programming." During my time as a research assistant, I held one-on-one interviews over the phone and face-to-face with the participants involved. Then, I transcribed and critically analyzed the interviews conducted to formulate plans that worked to improve the services and activities available for seniors living in the Hamilton area. I also co-hosted an exhibit where parts of my research were displayed for my work on the "Seniors of Canada" project, as shown in the pictures attached.
