Support project managers within the portfolio in preparation and implementation of project plans in accordance with the overall country plan.Insure that projects are contributing to the strategic goals of UNDP and are in line with the priority of the government Represent UNDP/ Project in all project board meetings, strategic reviews and meetings with the government and donors.Prepare concept papers, project documents and sector related briefings and researches and share finding with UNDP and other partners.

Represent NaWi Programme in all internal and external meetings. Oversee all projects and manage programme resources in close cooperation with head of programme and with support of project managers.Supervise operations of the programme to insure activities are in line with standard policies of the organization.Work on consolidation of programme plans and assign budget for activities.Support M&E department of the programme in preparation and development of result based monitoring system.Manage day to day operations of the programme office including management and supervision of programme staff.

Coordinate and support coordination structures of relief, recovery and Development activities between UN agencies, NGOs, Government and UNMIS at the state level.Maintain emergency response tracking system including early warning and contingency planning and advise humanitarian agencies for appropriate intervention.Advocate for joint programming by UNST, Government and NGOs in Upper Nile state.Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and prepare ad-hoc and urgent situations analysis, field mission reports and briefing notes based on the need.Maintain regular contact with state Government, line ministries, UN agencies and NGOs.

Prepare and implement social Targeting strategies, plans and workshops.Develop and prepare study paper, situation analysis and briefing notes on SI component of the program.Assist CDCs in planning, management and implementation of income generation projects.Facilitate social inclusion workshops for Provincial Technical Advisors, Site Supervisors, government employee and CDC members. Assist and monitor Work of Regional social inclusion officers and extend support to the field team as needed.

Coordinate with the director of human resources department on adoption and implementation of human resources policies.Assist section managers and Division directors in preparations and Development of ToRs for their respective units and sections.Plan and organize human resources committee meetings for recruitments and implementation of bank reform activities. Document and record decisions of the recruitment committee sessions and inform relevant departments.

Coordinate with local Authorities on preparation and implementation of voter registration process.Support International counterpart in field visits and meeting with local authorities and communities.Represent the office in coordination gatherings, official meetings, workshops with local authorities, international agencies and civil society.Work closely with international counterpart in all aspects of logistics plans supply chain management and tracking. Manage all voter registration/ electoral supplies and equipment for regional and provincial offices.Advice and support provincial logistics officers in their activities and extend support when needed.

Develop, contribute and prepare community development strategies and work plans.Support various departments in identification and implementation of community driven projects.Training Community Development Workers in community mobilization methods and techniques.Prepare forms and develop formats for survey of community development projects. Represent MC Office in coordination Meetings with Government, UN and NGOs in the area. Interpret and analyze data collected from the field and prepare analysis and survey reports.
