Contracted to support operations of the Lockheed Martin Center for Innovation and Security Solutions (CISS) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Worked at Lockheed Martin’s Center for Innovation and Security Solutions (CISS) in Masdar City:* Provided support in planning and managing the internship program; including managing the interns on daily basis and providing engineering support for internship projects. This increased the center’s capacity of hiring more interns, developing more projects, and run more internship cycles.* Worked in technical research and development of projects relevant to the center’s vision and goals.* Developed workshops and technical training for students.* Provided support in international aerospace and defense trade shows and exhibitions.* Supported with other CISS activities and operations

Developed a web app to control an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) and used its camera to implementfacial recognition. Responsibilities included:* Full-stack development of a web application to interact with the drone.* Collection of training images for the custom-built facial recognition neural network architecture built by my teammate.* Writing a detailed technical documentation of the project.In addition, I developed and delivered an A.I workshop courseware for high school students.

Assigned to the Hydra Avenue Project Towers C7, C8, and C9 in AlReem Island to observe electrical works during construction. Alsovisited Horizon towers to see the different electrical equipment.Skills learned during the internship:- Creating load schedules- Understanding different shop drawings- Creating daily reports and updating cumulative OBS- Performing inspections during different stages of works
