My role involved developing sales & marketing strategies to ensure we remain the sector's most successful contractor in the UK with the strongest brand.Building relationships with both new and existing clients and introducing them to our complete product/service Sourcing new enquiries and chasing & negotiating existing projects to placement of order to further increase turnover, margins and market share.

I was responsible for development of business for Roger Bullivant Limited within the midlands region including East Anglia for Piling, Mini Piling and Precast Modular Foundations disciplines and the south of England for Ground Improvement.• Brand development, including expanding and evolving CPD presentations Roger Bullivant delivered nationally in order to educate existing and potential clients.• Strategic face to face direct Client Consulting, maximizing project opportunities for the business.• CPD presentations of current specialist techniques. • Business plan & sales strategy development.• Estimating and tendering projects for key clients. My duties included liaising with potential new clients as well as managing relations and projects with existing clients. This could include attending pretender meetings, designing potential specialist foundation solutions; or estimating those solutions and negotiating in order to win work. As I have experience in both the operation and design of RB systems I could be a point of contact for a client over the whole life of the project and was available to visit sites and offices at any point in order to deal with any challenge that a client wanted to overcome.Solutions I was tasked with aiding include Piling, Precast Modular Ring-Beam, Ground Improvement and Restricted/ Mini Piling.

The first intake of Roger Bullivant Ltd's recently developed graduate scheme, which aims towards incorporated status and eventually chartership within the ICE.Working in both the Precast Modular Foundation & the Piling division my duties included;- Estimating, tendering and design of precast (concrete and steel), continuous flight augered and continuous helical displacement piles to British standards and eurocodes up to the value of £1,500,000- Producing static load calculations undertaking Broms analysis and moment capacities on piles as well as designing piles to resist heave - Contract management including preparing site specific risk assessments and method statements. Attending pre let and pre start meetings for projects with clients and dealing with all issues that arise regarding the project. Liaising with various parties in order to work towards common goals including; subcontractors, transport, operations and design.- Site supervision of projects including giving toolbox talks & 5 safe briefings to on site personnel. During my time at Roger Bullivant I was also been responsible for the planning and control of my individual professional development by following the company’s approved training, development and assessment ICE scheme.I also gave a 1 hour CPD presentation on various piling and foundation techniques to over 50 industry personnel at various marketing events.Occasionally given the responsibility to organize and produce end of month financial reports for the discipline manager in regards to the department giving me a greater understanding when controlling budgets and tendering works.
