* Design, modify and generate engineering drawings for new products and sustaining designs using AutoCAD, CATIA and Inventor * Design, modify metal parts and generate engineering drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD and CATIA of new products and sustaining designs in both 2D and 3D* Design multiple prototypes while working with customers directly to conform their design standards, meet regulatory compliance and finalize production parts* Coordinate with Director of Engineer and Quality Supervisor to understand and implement engineering techniques, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T), quality control* Work with programming CNC machine, sheet metal parts design, modeling and fabrication* Perform stress analysis and structural damage tolerance of moving components in commercial doors using DFMEA methodology to perform failure modes and forecast the life time of these parts to provide warranty information* Apply design knowledge and prepare design sheets and have experience in identifying root cause using problem solving skills such as KT and 5-Why analysis * Document Bill of Materials (BOMs) thoroughly and review technical papers including ASTM, ANSI, CSA standards, MSDS and instruction manuals for several prototypes and production parts in organized manner.
