-Coordinates, plans and supervises field staff, subcontractors and activities for the assigned project. - Liaison with other departments, plans to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspection to support the project scheduled. - Arrange the work of workers engaged in spreading, rolling, tamping and patching asphalt or other materials to form services of highways, streets, parking lots, driveways etc. - Coordinates plans and specifications with the project manager clarifying discrepancies. - Optimizes operational procedures. - Chooses techniques and defines asphalt means and methods. - Maintains DOT certifications. - Operate machinery such as excavator, front end loader, graders, etc.

- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.- Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.- Report any problems to the foreman.- Assist construction paving crew with various duties such as shoveling, raking, running wheel barrel, safely back in dumping trucks into paver. - Called upon to run power tools such as jackhammer.- Other duties as assigned.
