Oversees the whole gamut of operation of PEAL, an engineering and infrastructure company with nearly four decades of experience in long distance high pressure gas transmission systems, gas gathering lines and associated facilities, compressor stations, HDD river crossings, Offshore gas platform for LNG intake, Civil construction, Mechanical fabrication and erection; electrical and instrumentation works. PEAL is a pioneer in the energy sector in Bangladesh having successfully completed over $435 million worth of projects. Over the years PEAL has worked in collaboration with a number of world-renowned companies like Chevron Bangladesh, Hyundai Engineering Co Ltd (South Korea), MEARS Group Inc. (USA), TSK Group (Spain), McConnell Dowell (Australia), PetroChina International (Singapore), Smith Cogeneration (USA), Metron Energy Applications S.A. (Greece), VELOSI Europe (UK), Ocean Energy (UK), Geocean (France) and IPR (USA) among others.Currently on course to complete a 42-inch pipeline high-pressure gas transmission pipeline and associated facilities under three contracts valued at $5.6 million in Chittagong. The pipeline will eventually evacuate 500 MMCFD of re-gasified LNG from off-shore FSRU.

 Worked as Senior Energy Advisor and Team Leader, Energy in the Economic Growth Office, USAID/Bangladesh for the Mission’s bilateral energy program and the USAID regional energy program activities.  Had major advisory, policy formulation and program strategy development responsibilities pertaining to bilateral and regional energy issues.  Playede a significant role in project design, development and implementation; and representation responsibilities for the USAID/Bangladesh energy sector program particularly  Advised the Mission as well as the Embassy on issues related to the development and uses of various forms of energy and on implication of policy changes in both domestic and regional context. Played a lead role in the conceptualization, design and development of programs focusing on the Agency and the Mission’s strategy for economic growth in Bangladesh.  Managed implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of energy sector programs.  Was Country Coordinator (CCO) for the South Asia Regional Initiative for Energy Integration (SARI/EI) Program and advises the USAID Mission and the SARI/EI Program Director on the political and bureaucratic background of the energy sector and implications of any policy changes.  Developed and maintained active contacts with very high level Government of Bangladesh (GOB) officials, sector professionals, private sector and NGO operators, donor agencies, chamber and business leaders, academicians, etc. in Bangladesh and in the region.

Responsible for the EPC contract implementation of a microwave telecommunication based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the national gas transmission network.

Responsible for design, planning, development and operation of a regional natural gas transmission and distribution network system in the north-eastern part of the country.
