B.Tech in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1977 and M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1984 with post graduation diploma in Production Management and also Marketing Management through distance course from Annamalai University. Certified Energy Manager and Energy Auditor by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Govt of India. First Class Mines Manager certificate holder in metal mining and Certified RQP for preparing mining plans of metal mining. Worked in Iron Ore, Lime Stone, Copper and Heavy beach sand minerals during the last 34 years in companies under administrative control of Public, Private and State Govt sectors. Some of the company worked are M/s Hindustan Copper Ltd. at Khetri copper complex and Malanjkhand Copper project, Essel Mining of Iron Ore Mines at Barbil, Orissa, Salgaocar Bro at Goa, Lime Stone Mines of IDCOL, Orissa and Beach sand mining and mineral separation of Indian Rare Earths Limited at its Orissa, Kerala units and Corporate office, Mumbai. Corporate Head for R & D, Projects and Health Safety & Environment. Last working at IREL was as Unit Head of plant in Kerala engaged in production of strategic material for nuclear reactors of BARC. Presently working as CEO (Heavy Minerals) of Taurian Iron & Steel Co. Pvt. Ltd Mumbai in its green field projects in India and abroad.Experience varied from Mining all activities, Project implementation to Production planning and execution, design of plant, Health, Safety and Environment and Corporate Governance.Believe in smart work, honesty, dedication and loyal to organisation with focus to achieve company's objective at optimum cost and maximum efficiency.In view of completion of contractual commitment for the present organization, I am looking for organization requiring my services for technical expertise in greenfield and brownfield projects.
