About Aleksandr Kotenkov
I love brainstorming projects, challenging goals, passionate and considerate people. My day-to-day aim is to make a step forward and become a better version of myself without sacrificing the balance and self awareness. I love finding patterns in different parts and aspects of our life, structuring them and implementing them for beneficial results.Over the last decade, I dedicated myself to Software Development, starting from small teams and startups and ending with Enterprise Projects with Full Cycle of Development, overall over 30 projects with various technology stack and architecture complexity. I have an experience of teaching for two years, giving lectures and conducting seminars for both bachelor's and master's in the following disciplines: software development, data processing, mobile development. However, for the last 5 years my main focus, passion and interest is technology vision, technical leadership and project management. My key role is to lead, manage and support development teams, designing the optimal technical solution within a tolerance from goals fitting technical requirements and specifications. I am stressing out the word "support" because this is the way I establish mutual trust between me and my teams. My role is to propose the fundamental solutions that fit the needs and can be extended by the developers, because their commitment to the structure is the most valuable, healthy and beneficial part of their activity. My role is to make a soft push, pointing developers to implement the best version with minimal deviations from the business needs.I am needed in the teams, where the company values not only the accomplishment of the goals, but also the way they are reached, knowing the difference or at least willing to know how our product would be another from the existing on the market? Finally, not everything can be solved by technologies. I believe that the best scenario is when the hard part of the company is in the state of symbiosis with the digital part of the company. These two processes should push each other, extending boundaries and possibilities. On the other hand, there is no magic pill, that would solve all the challenges of one of the parts if there is no structured process and a common goal to evolve constantly. In my free time :I love training : weight lifting, cardioI love listening to books(top3): The Black Swan: The Impact of The Highly Improbable, Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment, 1984I love cooking: kamado grill, cast-iron pan, oven
