While working as a Product Area Lead I found a new passion in backend development and decided to focus on the new role to improve my technical skills.- Overseeing all content integrations in the product, including, but not limited to code review and architecture approval;- Design and development of content and HR integration solutions;- Preparing unit tests to ensure that my code is stable and functional;- Providing comprehensive technical and delivery documentation.During my work I got hands-on experience with Scala and Scalatra, Kafka, PostgreSQL and Kubernetes.

I was managing 2 agile cross-functional teams with the main focus on content integrations.Some of my team key achievements:- Developed multiple content integrations, including Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning. Full list can be found on the website: Valamis - Content Integrations.- Go1 integration, which later became the company's strategic partner and helped bring new customers: Valamis - Lightsource BP- Content Integrations Framework, which allowed us to rapidly integrate new providers on customer request.My primary responsibilities included:- Development, documentation and applying process frameworks for each team;- Providing support in architecture design to ensure that they comply with project requirements and product vision;- Project scope management and approval with key stakeholders;- Communicating new features to customers;- Providing complete delivery documentation;- Creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural diagrams and designs;- Development of POCs for various content integrations;- Investigating and resolving incoming technical issues.

Key responsibilities as a web developer:- Development and enhancement of the valamis.com website;- New features for content managers;- SEO optimization;- Product development support.Since both the Valamis product and the website utilized Liferay as their platform, I was able to provide support for the Valamis product as well.
