I have over 25 years of experience working in a Chemical/Manufacturing plant. As a contractor (turn around clerk and training personnel), and a company employee (lab and process technician).5 years directly creating, modify, updating procedures, training manuals, checklists, and training operators for the petrochemical and energy sectors (2 @ Shell/3 @ ESRG).25+ years indirectly creating, modify, updating procedures, training manuals, checklists, and training operators for the petrochemical industry. 2 years of my time as a process operator were devoted to: - 1. Write permits and oversee multiple contractors building two (2) new units.- 2. Create/Modify procedures, etc. to correspond to the new equipment being used. - 3. Train over 40 operators on the new unit (plus over 15 years trainer experience). - 4. Commission and start up the new units with the other operators. Over 4 years in Shipping/Logistics - 1. Move, spot, load and unload trucks, railcars and barges.- 2. Daily inventory of warehouse and order supplies and materials for operations and office use. Over 6 years as a Lab Technician directly - 1. Create/Modify procedures routinely - 2. Ran samples on Amines, S-Moipa, Amines, CL2, NaOH, Air/Gas and Wastewater. 25+ Operations: I caught, ran samples, and trained new operators/lab technicians while continuing to do my own job. 5+ years’ Billing (Invoicing, receivables, payables), Shipping, Human Resources and Payroll (I-9’s/W-2’s, taxes, reports, insurance, spread sheets, bank reconciliation, etc.) and financial planning.All of these jobs require communication and interpersonal skills with multiple departments or customers for on time and accurate service delivery
