I work with a wide range students from kindergarten to grade 12. I can easily adapt to various new circumstances that arise throughout the day such as changes in schedule, activities and location. I am able to quickly develop a rapport with new students by memorizing each student's name in a class in less than a minute. As life long learner, I successfully encourage and influence students to take risks and focus their energy on their greater learning.

I taught primary Social Studies and PE. I also worked one on one with kindergarten students doing number and letter/sound recognition.

I reinforced grammar rules through the use of games such as battleship and bingo. I created a variety of lessons, marked quizzes, tests and assignments. I graded students and completed report cards for my students.

I incorporated oral and written based program, the Daily Letter, that encouraged students to work at their own level. As students were studying Ancient Egypt, I organized a field trip to an interactive historical site related to the topic at hand.

I taught ESL and grade 8 French. I used a variety of techniques to engage my students. My students were encouraged to take leadership roles in the class including teaching their classmates a specific topic. They learned to read and write. My French students did a penpal exchange with students in Quebec. My ESL students learned how to write paragraphs and wrote on a topic of their choice. I also organized a field trip for both groups to practice their target language.

I provided live commentary on my Vancouver and Victoria tours while driving a 24 passenger bus. I was responsible for the well being of all of my guests.
