I am involved in the ACSESS Safety Group for the staffing industry to stay up to date on current health and safety regulations and to maintain our health and safety management system.NT Temps is a subsidiary of Nottawasaga Futures which is a non-profit organization. The profits we earn goes back into the community by supporting Nottawasaga Futures many projects to maintain and expand businesses across South Simcoe, along with many other community economic development projects.

Recruited associates for temporary placement across South Simcoe by conducting daily interviews and administering health and safety training to each worker. I participated in job fairs to bring new candidates on board and responded to business and employee inquiries.

Provided resources to businesses in the community to educate them on green practices. This included managing a database and analysing data to create reports on the level of participation local businesses had in green practices and which practices interested them most. I helped promote and organize local workshops to provide information to businesses to educate them on the resources available to help them green their business to save money. I maintained and expanded a website that was compiled of green resources, funding opportunities, best practices and local success stories.

Coordinated and managed 4 youth councils across South Simcoe to support community involvement. I facilitated weekly meetings between youth to offer resources to help them carry out local initiatives they had to build awareness on topics of interest. This included community events, educational workshops, training and more.
