Senior Finance And Administrative Manager
CurrentSpecific duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to: Carry out all aspects of IFPRI-Bangladesh Office’s finance and accounting functions, including cash flow management, and maintenance of accounting records of all the implementing projects in accordance with IFPRI, USAID and other relevant donor’s accounting principles and grant requirements. Ensure compliance with all local, IFPRI, USAID and other donor’s regulations including those relating to TAX, VAT and social securities etc. Prepare monthly Field Expense Report (FER) of IFPRI-Bangladesh Office’s expenses through QUICKBOOKS accounting software in accordance with IFPRI format (Deltek System) and send to Washington DC, IFPRI Headquarter accordingly. Prepare and update budget & timely review of expenditure against approved budget; support program team to organize dialogue on financial management and training courses for the IFPRI-Bangladesh staff members. Ensure internal control systems of overall accounting and financial activities of IFPRI-Bangladesh Office. Manage and coordinate administrative services functions to assure efficient operations of the IFPRI-Bangladesh Office, which includes smooth functioning of administrative matters, preparation of contracts, procurement, inventory control etc. HR management: Lead and manage all human resources issues with direct guidance from IFPRI-Headquarters including local staff hiring, arrange relevant staff development trainings as well as direct supervision of about fifteen admin, finance and support staffs. Any other duties as assigned by the IFPRI-Bangladesh Country Representative and IFPRI Headquarters’ Finance/Administration/HR Division etc. Used to serve as the Acting Chief of Party while our Chief of Party/Country Representative is on business trip or on leave.
