I am currently working on ground-up SCADA (Wonderware) implementation for manufacturing equipment. I make the graphics and tags, and then I commission the equipment with my colleagues. This requires me to collaborate with different people such as suppliers, fellow engineers, technicians, and management. I have also supported various PLC work such as: PLC replacements, battery changeouts, and managing I/O. I have mainly been working on Siemens and Wago PLCs.Before diving into controls, I was a mechanical system owner of the plant vacuum system, which is responsible for handling product in a clean room environment. My responsibilities were managing repairs, lowering cost, and responding to system emergencies.

I worked with design engineers to redesign and model manufacturing equipment using SolidWorks. This was done to cut long-term costs. I also revised a manufacturing process after a $29k accident occurred and investigated a $300k per year scrap issue.

As a resident advisor, I managed over 60 college students' housing needs. This included registration, communicating safety issues, responding to medical and facility emergencies, and mediating conflicts. I maintained a respectful and welcoming environment for a diverse group of over 60 students. One of my favorite parts about this position was mentoring students on how to succeed in college, both in academics and personal life.
