I trained and collaborated with students regarding career exploration, professional documents, interview skills, job/internship search strategies, and other career-related topics. This was done in both 1:1 and group presentation settings. I designed and wrote the curriculum for a 3-module Canvas course with 6 informational videos and content to help individuals gain or improve current employment. The class was made up of 120 underemployed and unemployed residents of UT taking the course through the CARES Act grant. Along with my TA, I taught and graded career preparation assignments including resume, interviewing skills, LinkedIn, networking, and negotiation. To supplement the online course, we met weekly for group and 1:1 mentoring, Q&A, and feedback.

Degree Works is a web-based tool that allows institutions to program policies and requirements for academic programs. As the Degree Audit Specialist, I programmed all requirements for the nearly 300 undergraduate and graduate programs using Ellucian's Scribe programming language. Additionally, I collaborated with many stakeholders on campus to provide training to both academic advisors and students. Under my leadership, Utah State University saw a 30% increase in the use of Degree Works through strategic initiatives and training.

I acted as the admissions liaison between Blanding, Price, and Logan campuses to provide service to over 28,000 students. Because this role for USU-Eastern had recently transitioned to being handled on USU's main campus in Logan, UT, I worked hard to build trusting relationships and unity between all campuses. This also required collaboration with several departments and offices to provide uniformity and consistency between USU and USU-Eastern policies and procedures to determine admissibility to the university.

Because Autumn Care Assisted Living is a small non-profit, I had the opportunity to wear many hats. Among day-to-day management and coordination to provide quality care for senior adult residents, I also assisted the administrator in employee recruitment, employment, and training. I also took on several Human Resources related projects to update and organize employee records, certifications, payroll, and background clearance information. Last, I focused on social media for the company by managing their company blog and Facebook page.

The A-Team is a group of Utah State University students who are hired and trained to assist and support incoming students and their parents through the transition to college. A-Team members assist in student orientation and mentor a group of incoming students throughout their first year. This involves helping teach a freshman course and weekly communication with students. A-Team members have the opportunity to influence the perception of USU, as well as influence the success and retention of new students.
