A.T. Wilson possesses over 26 years of leadership experience in active duty and reserve military service as an enlisted U.S. Marine and a Marine Officer. He is a retired state government employee and has been a community leader and active volunteer since 1991. A.T. has been heavily involved in volunteerism to include promoting and supporting youth activities as well as coaching athletics. He served as the Director of Atlanta Toys For Tots for 10 years where he guided the Atlanta Toys For Tots campaign to become one of the most successful in the nation. His efforts successfully contributed to over 2.7 million disadvantaged children receiving toys, raised over $3 million dollars in donations from the Atlanta area, and his efforts led to the collection of about eight million toys. A.T. developed an extensive background in marketing and fundraising strategy during his years working directly with many corporate industry leaders and non-profit organizations. His achievements in cause-marketing strategies have been leveraged to create current successful partnership opportunities and long lasting relationships with many Fortune 500 companies. Due to his diligent efforts, he has been recognized and awarded by the Marine Toys For Tots Foundation as both the National Marine Unit Coordinator of the year in 2007 and National Local Community Organizer of the year in 2012. He is the only person to win both of these esteemed awards. Currently serves as the contracted Fundraising Counsel for the Foundation. A.T. is a graduate of Saint Leo University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He has a formal education in military science, federal U.S. Government contracting and numerous state level certifications.
