Working as a chief analyst for a sectoral consulting company is a new challenge. We were able to build an analysis team, develop a line of consulting products and increase expertise, noted by all key players on the Ukrainian market.In our products, we dive deep into the problem, look at the problem in a complex and creative way, generating ideas.We focus on global trends in the steel industry such as sustainability, low carbon technology, international trade, financial health, market issues. Thus, I was happy to build up my skills in these areas.I consider the skill of public speaking to be a special achievement, incl. at major international conferences.I am proud that after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we were able to reorient our business model to the international market, offering relevant products and winning recognition and contracts from the world's largest companies.

Having taken the initiative in developing trading strategies, I got the opportunity to implement them. As head of trading I was responsible for the work of the trading and analysis departments. One of the first challenges was to secure the purchase of a large mining company through a share consolidation, which was successfully completed.As part of consulting, we performed regular business valuatuion of one of the largest business groups in Ukraine, approving the results of our work in front of the "Big Four" companies. We have been recognized as one of the best local expertise in business valuation in this project.I gained useful experience and portfolio in the development and formalization of the investment strategy of a large industrial company in Ukraine, which was the subject of consulting services.The company also invested in projects in the real sector, where I was responsible for the formation of a negotiating position, the development of contracts (MOU, Term-Sheets), strategic planning, investment planning.

It was a great opportunity to gain experience working with people and show my best qualities as a middle manager. I am proud that we have created a TOP-5 analytical team in the Ukrainian market by hiring students without working experience. My task was to select candidates and ensure their training and adapting to ensure implementig of all working tasks. I tried to convey to them the standards of work and I am grateful for the serious attitude, thanks to which we have achieved such outstanding results.One of my strengths is creativity and I have had the opportunity to show this in creating new formats of analytical products and approaches to the analysis of information, which has ensured a positive perception of our clients. We contributed our reports to Bloomberg, Factset, Capital IQ, actively interacted with the media.In parallel, the direction of consulting was developing, where several large projects were implemented. The largest project included market research and recommendations for the development of a network of filling stations for a new player. The company's income for this project was $150,000.

After the University, I got my dream job as a financial analyst, where I was able to show my best abilities and skills acquired during my studies. I was lucky to work in a analysts strong team, which gave me the opportunity to adopt the highest standards of work. Getting a base and learning was the main goal for me at that time. I learned to search for information, using the principle of double-checking, intolerance for errors, a versatile approach to the analysis of information, the priority of the quality of work.We analyzed the stock market, perform business valuations, looked for investment ideas. The company opened a private equity direction, in which I was responsible for the analysis and selection of investment projects. I was motivated and actively took the initiative. I have developed a broad outlook and the ability to constantly learn something new.
