Provided critical support to 150 first-year high school students by implementing the Diplomas Now program model that focuses on improving student attendance, behavior, and coursework in Algebra 1. Conceptualized and executed the After-School Program for students in need of additional academic support. Taught Algebra 1 to students who were academically behind their grade level, cultivated weekly tutoring sessions with a points-and-prizes system to motivate students to attend tutoring. Due to my leadership, 20 students raised their failing grades in Algebra 1 to passing grades by the end of the academic year.
