From 1972-1992 worked as research Scientist (@ General Electric Power Systems, Schenctady, New York ) on Rotating Machinery and developed Diagnostic tools to identify problems before they occur creating huge savings to the Power Plant Owners. One of the first Promoter Director of large scale Combined Cycle Power Plant in the Private Sector at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh developing with the help of NTPC as Co- Promoter; Westinghouse and Rolls Royce, PLC as equipment suppliers. The plant was in good working condition but stopped due non supply of pipelined CNG from GAIL. Recently with 650 acres of land it changed hands to another developer. In 1997/98 with the help of PACER program; BSES and USDOE developed Coal Washery at Korba (SECL) supplying washed coal to Dahnu Power plant at that time owned by BSES. This was followed by the largest Coal Washery at Angul, Orissa with complete wagon loading system supplying washed Coal to AP Government owned power plant at Vijayawada. With this experience I promoted Spectrum Renewable Energy PVt Ltd with BOOT agreement with Warana Sugars Limited a 100 Ton per day of press mud facility a first in India way back in 2009 at a cost of Rs. 26 Crores producing 8 Tons per day of CBG. 50% of the project cost was given by Bank of Baroda and 50% was brought in as equity by NRI promoters. with this experience and supported by Capt. Sindhu and Sarvesh Sindhu and experienced team Rohtak project was added with a capacity of 100 Tons of press mud and 50 to 100 tons of cow manure. This facility has the state of art Membrane based gas cleaning system and a solar system supplying the power required for the project. At this project we introduced glass lined steel plates for the digester construction. We are planning for a most integrated waste management systems utilizing total waste of a sugar mill with a zero discharge system and world class equipment.
