• Provides numerous administrative functions on personnel transactions to ensure DEERS (Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System)and RAPIDS(Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System)data is up to date, accurate and current.• Updates, reviews and manages the Air Force personnel awards and decorations in the Military Personnel Data System.• Provides quality reviews on administrative documents, personnel reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies ensuring current directive and standards are upheld.• Advises officers and airmen on military personnel issues and programs• Answers telephone, receiving and distributing mail and maintains Air Force personnel records in numerous personnel databases.• Initiates Air Force personnel reenlistments/extensions and Separations orders based on ETS (Expiration, Term of Service) data.• Monitors and assist Air Force personnel with processing of retirement packages.• Inspects personnel activities for compliance with policies and directives• Initiates and updates Servicemen Group Life Insurance and DD Form 93 (Emergency Data Contact Information) for Air Force personnel.• Briefs on personnel programs such as assignments, promotions, separations, retirements, benefit programs, retention, bonus, classification, training and retraining, and personnel reliability program, and career progression to my senior leadership and commander.• Provides basic concepts and principles with Human Resource data to organizational and senior leadership with mission requirements. • Efficient in oral or written communication• Experience in all Microsoft Applications • Works independently and sets priorities with very little supervisory control• Conducts new unit members’ orientations through the New Comers Program.• Work closely with the Wing Safety Manager.• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
