  ORACLE DBARESPONSIBILITIES:• Excellent experience in installation, setup and configuration of Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c in HP-UX, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, Windows and UNIX/Linux Environment. • Experienced in Installation of high availability RAC environment (2, 3 and 4 node clusters) and upgraded standalone databases to 10g RAC environment. • Extensive experience in DataGaurd, Grid control, Backup and Recovery of Databases oracle 9i,10g,11g. • Proficient in setting up Standby Database using shell scripts and RMAN utility tool, activating and Re-building Standby Databases both Physical and Logical supported by DATAGUARD. • Excellent knowledge in logical backups, Hot/Cold Backup and Recovery and Cloning of databases using RMAN with VERITAS Net Backup.• Expertise Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, troubleshooting GG issues. • Expert in implementing in Oracle STREAMS (unidirectional, bi-directional and downstream capture) and managed Operational, Historical and reporting databases. • Extensive knowledge Oracle Architecture, SGA, PGA, LISTENER, TNS Names, V$ and DBA views. • Developed shell scripts for automation of software installation and monitoring of system resources.• Configured the network environment and established connections between various oracle databases using listener.ora and tnsnames.ora.• Experienced in loading data from flat files into database tables using SQL*Loader and ETL Tools like Informatics, Data flux, Data Stage. • Specialized in Operating System Tuning, SQL Tuning, Database/Instance Tuning. • Managed very large database (VLDB) of maximum size 5TB with 18 servers including 6 Productions, 6 testing, 6 Development and 3 Standby databases. • Performed successfully in a highly stressful, 24x7 mission critical environment. Environment o Oracle 11g,10g,9i, Oracle RAC on Linux, Toad, RMAN, SQL*Plus, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*LOADER, Oracle OEM, Import/Export.
