I have been working in the field of software development for over 10 years, most of which I've spent at Kontur, a major B2G company. This year, I decided to concentrate on enhancing my hard skills, and I have been working as a platform engineer in our departments' infrastructure team. We are developing an ES modules + TypeScript microfrontend framework.Platform Development:- I have been writing and reviewing more complex code than ever before, with a higher cost of error since the entire department will be using this code.- I participated in our team's planning and the selection of long-term goals.- I introduced the concept of updatable project scaffolding templates, which we have successfully implemented.- I migrated one of the product team's projects to our new infrastructure and expanded the platform to better suit their needs.- I introduced a ASP.NET C# library for handling our users' static assets.Management-Related:- I organized a planning process to coordinate technical debt management across multiple teams (300+ people).- As usually, I conducted performance reviews for my cluster of developers alongside their team leads (20+ people).- I am organizing another process aimed at popularization and centralization of design reviews in our department (300+ people).
