I have experience in engineering development and management for both low volume and high volume products (>80M units deployed).In my career, my work has involved product development in several markets including cable TV & wireless test, consumer electronics, and medical device combination product development My career started technically with RF engineering, and has progressed through high speed digital design working with major silicon companies to integrate highly integrated "SOC" ICs into consumer electronic devices such as set top boxes. I have worked with the project core teams (business mgt., marketing, operations, sourcing, etc) to create the architectures for various products. These products created yearly revenues of many hundred million dollars/year for many years. I was accountable for the successful delivery of these products to production as well as the ultimate customer satisfaction of these products.In my role as individual contributor, team lead, and manager of development teams, I have stayed technically close to design work as well as capable of working the soft skills that are necessary with cross functional large teams (internal/external customers & vendors).
