Maintenance Watch Engineer
CurrentMonitoring the line maintenance technical status of the aircraft in the NAA Fleet.Liaising with the Flight Operations Department on requirements affected by the application of a MEL/CDLCommunicating actions required by all parties to carry out rectifications or actions whenever a defect is reported in flight.As requested by NAA Airworthiness, coordinating aircraft recovery from a defect at a location where no AMO support is contracted or available.Assisting and following up on Overnight Maintenance completion from Line Maintenance, ensuring a release to service has been received following maintenance.Assuming the task of performing the necessary preparation work for the application of PUS/EA/RDAF after hours, as requested by the CAM.Monitoring the rectification of defects on delayed or potentially delayed flights and ensuring that estimated return to service times are realistic.Keeping Airworthiness management and Flight Operations informed on AOG and delays as a result of mechanical disruptions.Liaising between CAMO Planning, the respective AMO and Material and Logistics to schedule or reschedule defect rectification or disruption to the planned maintenance outside their respective hours of business.
