• Drive the scaling, design and enhancement of Vodafone IP/MPLS fixed network including access, aggregation, Edge and core layers.• Handle advanced Implementation tasks including design and configuration.• Vendor selection and handling in projects including new products, services and first deployment.• Perform the first implementation for any new Network design, customer’s solution, or service in the Fixed Network to ensure prober function.• Work on the reports and network problems raised from the Customer Experience and Operations teams and provide technical guidance/solutions to ensure the optimal performance.• Responsible for developing new services, solutions and products within Vodafone Egypt IP/MPLS Fixed Network by defining Capability, technical specifications and end-to-end service flows.• Provide end-to-end solutions for corporate customers including technical and financial aspects.• Responsible for the selection and the technical assessment of VF’s Fixed Network equipment to fulfill the needed functions, features, performance and capacities.• Production of High-level and Low-Level Design (HLD / LLD) documents to clearly describe all aspects of new network/customer designs, products and services.• Setup, evaluate and test new network/customers setups, new equipment’s and products’ capabilities in the lab and pre-production environment.• Act as a reference point for presales, planning and implementation teams to offer smooth end to end migrations and services flow.• Hands on experience on wide range of multiple vendor such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and Nokia.• Hands on experience on the assessment and doing FNI for Cisco IOS XE & XR and JunOS new software.• Handles all security hardening requests and vulnerabilities assessment and decide the way forward to secure VF Fixed network.

• Acts as the technical reference inside the team.• Support both ETS2 members and ETS1 seniors in handling complicated technical cases.• Responsible for coordinating with Core and Access teams for any Access, Core issues.• Support ETS1 Management in evaluating/choosing new NOC Engineers.

• Troubleshooting both Core and Access network layers [Trunks, Gears stability, Power outages, temperature violations, CPU, DSLAMS, and Bandwidth Utilization, alarming and reporting].• Handling Major network failure problems affecting Node, service [L2VPN, MPLS, Managed, and Inter-AS] and maintain NOOR corporate Internet access.• Troubleshooting and maintaining the international links with the upstream providers in co-ordination with the core team.• Suggest corrective/prevention action plan for any repeated/chronic network problems.• Handle IS-IS and Core BGP alarms with deep investigations and solve their related issues, as well as handle DDOS attacks, ensuring anomalies detection and mitigation process over NOOR cloud (including NOOR DDoS clients).• Responsible for network performance assurance such as identify service degradation or congestion and solve them in co-ordination with the core team.• Responsible for troubleshooting, fixing and maintaining global outages caused by trunk [Giga-Ethernet, STM4, STM1, E3, E1] failure or device failure in Central Offices.• Participate in customers’ solutions assessments, evaluation process and new products/projects installation in-coordination with other teams then deliver the appropriate knowledge responsibilities to both ETS1 and Broadband teams acts as a point of escalation.• Cooperate with the Field & Access engineers to solve the transmission and hardware issues.• Provide proper documentation of network incidents and generate Technical Incident reports for major network incidents and problems.• Troubleshoot various customers solutions scenarios, which are based on many services and such as Internet, MPLS Applications over wired and wireless/3G environments, as well as troubleshoot and modify customer's routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, RIPv2 whether on Provider's Edge and/or CEs.• Hands on experience on wide range of multiple vendor such as Cisco series, as well as Juniper SRX, M, and Ex series.

• Acts as a technical reference inside the team and provide them with the technical support required for any case.• Support the team with the minimum configuration required from edge side. • Act as a last technical escalation inside the team and work side by side with level-2 to minimize restoration time.• Auditing all the technical cases day by day.• Provide newcomers with the technical training, Evaluation and Technical Tasks.• Responsible for increasing ETS1 Members technical Knowledge.

• Monitor Network Core, Distribution, and Access Layers and act proactively to minimize response time.• Troubleshoots customer problems in forms of phone calls, online communication, and technical-visits. • Modify/Place configuration on customer’s equipment to solve their relevant issues.• Handle most types of know field issues such as routing, switching, DSL and related service outages, degradation, flaps, and packet loss issues, as well as having a good experience in troubleshooting different types of application technologies such as L3 MPLS VPN, L2 MPLS VPN over wired media, wireless and mobile 3G environments.• Troubleshoot over different types of LAN/WAN topological solutions such as Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, and EFM.• Follow up with ETS2 team to modify any missing configuration on NOOR's PEs after identifying the problem.• Troubleshoot edge devices such as ATM, Ethernet & IP DSLAMs [Paradyne, Zhone, Zyxel, and Huawei] as well as customer premises devices such as DSL modems, Ethernet Switches, Routers [Cisco, Juniper, Paradyne, Patton, Aethra, Zyxel and Billion]• Handle IS-IS, BGP and International neighbors’ alarms as well as handling main responsibilities of ETS2 team during night shifts.• Follow up on pending cases with internal and external relationships to minimize restoration time.• Works on various versions of cisco routers and switches like 1800, 2800, 2900, VXR7200, ASR1000, CRS, C3560 and C6500.• Works on Juniper routers and switches like SRX140, SRX240, MX104, MX480, EX4200 and EX4550.• Works on Huawei routers like AR100.

• Maintaining & Troubleshooting problems of Orange’s BSS Equipment in mobile site [2G BTSs & 3G NodeBs & Microwave links] specially Huawei & Ericsson Equipment's • Works on Huawei 3900 Cabinets & Ericsson CN, TNxP Links.• Responsible for handling radio & environmental alarms, for Orange BSS sites in Shoubra & Cairo Down Town and Mokattam Areas.• Able to use Site Master to maintain VSWR values and determine feeder faults if any.• Able to handle BER issues and upgrade new E1s.• Handling down sites and 2G & 3G down issues.
