Bushstrike is a safety-tech startup on a mission to enhance public safety across Africa. We do this by crowdsourcing crime data and democratizing emergency response services via our personal safety mobile app, Faroo https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.faroo.- Built from scratch our MVP app (Faroo) alongside the CEO (Lead Design) using React-Native, Firebase, Node, and Express.

Talk360 is a mobile calling platform connecting Africans with their loved ones worldwide. They're also building the world's first single checkout payment platform combining all local currencies and payment methods for all Africans.• Collaborated with other engineers and stakeholders in the building and maintaining the Admin Dashboard for our Payment Orchestration Platform resulting in the daily resolution of 50+ customer support tickets. • Reduced signup drop-offs from 40% to 10% and increased user conversion by 20% by developing a custom onboarding experience for the Talk360 Mobile Calling App alongside one other Frontend Engineer. • Co-ordinated and refined e2e Tests with Cypress leading to a 30% user retention rate, and ensured all payment methods integrations were active and bug-free. • Performed browser compatibility tests and verified that our web app was compatible even with the oldest browsers and devices, improving user experience by over 90%.

Ayu Digitals is a software company building a personalized community platform for the general public.• Effected building the web app of a community management system using React, NextJS, Styled-Components, and other frontend tools.• Developed the design system used from scratch during the app's development, which enhanced the team's overall development time for a feature by 60% and made integrating new features much more effortless.• Collaborated with the CTO in integrating new product features and patches and enforcing best software development practices that improved the product's performance by 20%.• Wrote unit tests using Jest and ensured all components and pages were bug-free.
