I took a decision to write independently after seven years of working with the organisation as I felt there wasn’t enough growth – both in terms of the compensation package and the scope of work. As an independent journalist, I wrote for publications like The Hindu Business Line, Mumbai Mirror, Business Standard, Man’s World and my work has been published.

Prior to joining The Times of India, my last full-time assignment was working with Business Standard newspaper as the Assistant Features Editor. I worked with Business Standard for seven years in various capacities – I joined the bureau as a senior reporter, to handle the advertising and marketing beat.
