• Collaborate with customer’s ICT Planning team to determine short-term and long-term database infrastructure needs and appropriate database resources for specific projects.
• Understands and ensures compliance on Database Infrastructure across different Auditing Internal, External, PCI DSS.
• Formulates, implements, and enforces proper policies and procedures as per ITIL standards.
• Establishes data quality standards and works with Senior Management team and/or external stakeholders to ensure standards are met.
• Oversees and maintains close working relationships with third party IT provider and software vendors.
• Ensures that all vendor updates are properly installed and rolled out. Work with development teams and 3rd party vendors throughout the development life cycle regarding optimal use of database resources and features.

• Project:Client – Ooredoo Telecom Company, a Qatar based telecom Group.
• Provide 24 x 7 Operational Support for 200+ databases (Version 11gR2 thru 19c) including Production, Pre-production, Development, UAT and standby database servers.
• Provide technical support and assistance to all database end-users.
• Involved in multiple DBA activities like Installations, Upgrades, Migrations, Projects, Database performance and tuning, backup and recoveries using RMAN, SQL Tuning etc.
• Have successfully lead and completed key projects for Ooredoo as Technical Team lead.
• Handling escalations and resolving TT within agreed SLA.

Kuwait

Extensively involved in the planning, designing, service delivery and project implementation of the Oredoo Telecom’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. Installed, configured and maintained Mission Critical Oracle Applications environnements Rel.12.1.3 on VM Ware Virtual Cluster Servers – O.S - RHEL.
