Sets up test environments, executes tests, records results and defects, and provides guidance and mentoring to developers to reproduce problems and get them solved.- Implement Testing Life Cycle from Test plan, design scripts and execute them- Graphical User Interface (GUI) and functional testing of WAP portals using a mobile simulator (DeviceAnywhere) including content downloads (Wallpapers, Ringtones, Games, Apps and Screensavers).- Graphical User Interface (GUI) and functional testing of Web and desktop applications using automation tools such as HTTP Test Tool and Selenium.- Performance/Load/Stress Testing of applications using JMeter.- Perform validation against the server and Java logs, database, XML messages between client and server as well as Front End applications via SSH using PuTTY.- Evaluation, documentation and reporting.- Maintain current and historical versions of files such as test plans, code s, web pages, and documentation- Work closely with the engineering team to thoroughly test new products releases and with the sales team deploying new services.
