Securitas Global IT and Intelligent Services was established in late 2017, with the ambition to create a common operating model for IT and technology, covering 50+ countries and 370,000 employees. I joined the company as the Global Software Asset Manager, working in the Global IT Sourcing team. My primary area of focus was to secure compliance and efficient usage of our global delivered services, such as the Microsoft 365 based collaboration platform and the global datacenters. I was also responsible for driving the consolidation of software license agreements, supporting both the local countries and Global IT Sourcing with license advice, negotiation strategies and operational management.

After three years as a general software license specialist, I dedicated my focus to Microsoft and primarily their Enterprise agreements. I played a vital role for all of COMPAREX customers by supporting them with deep license- and agreement knowledge. Through hands-on workshops, strategic advice and negotiation support I helped some of the largest companies in Sweden to secure commercially attractive licensing solutions, and in many cases digitalize and adopt new cloud technology.

Operational sourcing and procurment of software licenses from major vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Adobe, IBM and Oracle. Working closely with both sales, finance and other backoffice teams.

Operational purchasing of software licenses from major vendors such as Microsoft, Adobe, Symantec, Kaspersky, Trend Micro, McAfee and Veeam. I also worked with strategic purchasing and warehouse management for a coupe of component and peripheral vendors such as Kingston and Logitech.
