I am the founder of Alpha Fiber, a healthtech startup providing the only real-time solution for detecting potential concussions in athletes using only cameras. Our software combines neuroscience with computer vision and AI.

Department of Biology, Miramar College

• Authoring, formatting, and critically reviewing research study reports and regulatory documents (Modules 2 and 4 for INDs and BLA submissions), including pharmacology (in vitro and in vivo studies), pharmacokinetics, and toxicology (both non-GLP and GLP) disciplines.• Provided nonclinical subject matter expertise in pharmacology and toxicology supporting several therapeutic areas of both biologics (oncology, autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases).• Served as nonclinical representative on submission teams and worked with functional leads to devise and implement regulatory strategy for product candidates.• Awarded the MacroGenics Above and Beyond (mAb) Award within 7 month of employment for exceeding expectations with improving efficiency in product development, sustained superior performance, as well as improved team morale with a positive attitude.

Department of Psychology. Developed a neuroscience focused curriculum for an upper division psychology course (PSYC 335).

• Authored, critically reviewed, and summarized key regulatory and scientific documents for US FDA and EMA (briefing packages, DMFs, INDs, NDAs, BLAs, white paper).• Proficient in preparing Module 1 documents and SPI in PLR and SPL formats for regulatory submissions.• Provided nonclinical subject matter expertise in pharmacology and toxicology supporting several therapeutic areas of both drugs and biologics (neurology, rheumatology, genetic diseases, cardiology, hematology). • Experienced in regulatory agency meetings/interactions (participated in 6 FDA meetings) and extremely proficient at ensuring quality control for a wide variety of regulatory submissions.• Efficient and resourceful project manager with duties that included creating superior MS Project timelines and MS Excel spreadsheets, assessing regulatory risks and project issues, and recommending solutions to regulatory management for clients seeking approval from US FDA, EMA and PMDA.• Maintained a working knowledge of advancements in scientific principles and methodology by attending conferences and SPL workshops, and reviewing recent literature and ICH guidelines.• Regulatory and scientific intelligence experience with a broad knowledge of drug development including biosimilar products.

• Managed the initial round of fundraising.• Defined a vision for Playzon’s budgetary endeavors and overseeing the quality of the program’s gaming services and outcomes.• Built an annual budget of $2.1 Million and compared the current budget versus actual revenues and expenditures.• Reported the status of various company accounts (balance, expected expenditures, etc) and maintained financial stability.

• Trained colleagues in the care of neural stem cells, including maintenance, differentiation, and labeling for the use in a rodent model of stroke.• Adjusted scientific methods and protocols to correct problems in immunohistochemical and behavioral experiments.• Played an integral role in training and managing day to day data acquisition.

• Taught SAT Math IIC at UC Riverside, and Kindergarten and 3rd grades at Pedley Elementary School• Coordinated and instructed lectures and providing feedback evaluations to students and parents.• Collaborated with colleagues to create an effective lesson plan catered to each age group.
