PhD thesis: Turbulent boundary layers under complex spatial and temporal pressure gradient histories.• Built a novel experimental facility to impose spatially and temporally varying pressure gradients on turbulent boundary layers, fundamentally recreating conditions encountered by flows over maneuvering aircraft, turbomachinery, gusty wind conditions, etc. • Used statistical and modal analyses techniques to probe the boundary layer's response captured using time-resolved particle image velocimetry.
