TLDR: everything data at product startups.Long version:I started in analytics in 2013 at a KPO, got bored out of my mind, joined a startup, and have thoroughly enjoyed the frenzy and madness of working on startup analytics for 8 years.I witnessed the crazy obsession with data in the mid-2010s when people thought they could solve any problem with data, and the subsequent disillusionment soon after as analysts failed to deliver on this promise. I have seen many startups with big data teams that serve little purpose and others with a small team that drives big impact. As I speak to founders, PMs, and analysts - it's clear that analytics hasn't changed much in these years - startups still don't know their correct retention and engagement, PMs make decisions without data, and analysts struggle to interpret data for business growth.Meanwhile, I have changed a lot. After 8 years at 3 startups, I took a long career break to understand my priorities and re-organize life. I now set up their analytics infrastructure so they can focus on building the business. I do this by implementing best practices and automation learned over the past 8 years. If you want to know more, talk with me here: https://topmate.io/ask_aadi/
