I am a full-time PhD Student at STOR-i CDT (Centre for Doctoral Training) of Lancaster University. STOR-i is not only among the best CDTs established by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (UKRI), but it is a world-renowned research centre in the field of Statistics and Operational Research as well. STOR-i offers a unique integrated PhD program in association with industry. As a part of my research, I am working on a pricing project with TESCO, the largest retail supermarket chain in the United Kingdom.I completed two full-time master’s degrees in Mathematical subjects before starting my PhD. Like my PhD education, both of my master’s programs were fully sponsored by the government authorities. Furthermore, I was awarded the highest potential classification for each academic achievement (SSC, AISSCE, FYBSc, BSc, MS, and MRes) starting from senior secondary.I have also worked with two conglomerates (TVS Motors, and BHGE) for short durations as a data science intern during my first master. Works were related to data modelling, model evaluation, and model deployment. I primarily used Artificial intelligence techniques, Statistical Learning, Mathematical Programming, Mathematical Modelling, Python, R, and Minitab to generate precious insights for business needs.I am actively looking to participate in short-term (internships)/ part-time challenging projects related to Artificial intelligence, Combinatorial Optimisation, Simulation, Convex Optimisation, Bayesian Statistics, Statistical Learning, or any allied field.
