Joined as CEO soon after the product was launched and recruited a new team. Pivoted the business model, going from subscription based model to an affiliate model.Merged with sister company Kickback AS to faster test the value proposition during autumn 2020. Relaunched with an app in early 2021 with close to 100 webshops on the platform.The project was shut down during the summer of 2021.

Business and Product Development at FINN.no, finding the intersection between user needs and business opportunities.- Responsible for introducing a freemium model at FINN torget - more than doubling the ad volume and traffic. Project successfully implemented in less than 6 months- Responsible for the first close co-operation between a market place and the insight department, creating a cluster based model for FINN torget users. Using data scientists and hypothesis driven approach to create new and actionable insights.- Responsible for the first lean startup project at Schibsted, focusing on business opportunities and user needs in the real estate market. Coached by guru Ash Maurya himself. Foundation for very successful upsell products such as Blink.

"Uber for cleaning services". Introduced a new business model working with self employed cleaning maids. Setting up the necessary legal framework, back office, website and marketing. Brokered 20 000 cleaning jobs and gave more than 50 cleaners the opportunity to work in the regulated market rather than on the black market.Entrepreneurial project pursued alongside daytime job.

"LinkedIn for the rental real estate market". Launched a platform for matchmaking real estate owners with tenants as a side project alongside daytime job along with 3 colleagues from FINN.no.- Second place in Start-up Weekend Oslo 2012- First Intrapreneur project to create user revenue- Together with the Director of Innovation established the Sandbox-framework for future Sandbox teams- Idea sold back to FINN when I started to work with Lendo

Worked closely with EVP of Glitnir Markets on strategy, cost cutting and cross border reporting. Glitnir Markets was the second largest equity broker in the Nordic equity market and included brokerage and corporate finance activities in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia.

Evaluating M&A opportunities for the bank (valuations, strategy, synergies). Worked on investor material for external use (financial reporting and quarterly presentations). Worked on extracting synergies and integration plan for acquired companies.Glitnir Bank was at a time one of the fastest growing banks in Europe. From 2004 to 2008 it grew organically and through acquisitions from being a pure Icelandic bank to having operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, UK, USA, Canada, Russia, Luxembourg, China and India.

Started overseeing the currency balance of the bank. From November 2005 I was project manager for the market risk team. Managed multidiciplinary projects involving brokers, back-office, IT, accounting and market risk. The market risk team was responsible for monitoring and reporting on limits on currency exposure, equity exposure and mark-to-market interest exposure for the bank on consolidated basis. Acted as secretary in the market risk committee.Main accomplishments- Streamlining of limits and reporting structure- Successfully implemented regular reporting to business managers- Involved in establishing the market risk committee- The team implemented a Value at Risk Model- Enhanced the banks currency balancing. Improved the in-house made system (visual basic and SQL programming), the routines in back-office and branches, and successfully increased the use of STP.

Developed a Flash based educational computer program. The team focused on presenting technical information in a visual and easy to understand manner.
