Established in 2004, Aaghaz Foundation is a zero-expense NGO that uses education as a tool to root out illiteracy and bring about socio-economic reforms among Muslims.It also runs a Free Coaching Centre, a Guidance and Counselling Centre and a Feeder Programme in association with Aligarh Alumni Association and Aligarh Forum/ India Wisdom Foundation.Specialties: Aaghaz does not get any grant from the government. Funds are raised from members and through individual contributions and is used solely to pay school fees. In keeping up with our guiding principles, not a single penny has been spent on the Foundation (all office expenditure, including stationary, postal expenses etc. are borne by the members voluntarily) on anything other than education.
