The Group employs 20,000 people and our distribution network is the most extensive in the country, with over 500 million SKUs annually, reaching every household of the country.Alongside driving the transition of this large family business into a well-structured regional MNC, I lead the FMCG distribution vertical, which represents 70+ international brands in Nepal. Our work helps VG define and leverage our areas of competencies and our strengths whilst keeping the bigger picture of sustainable and profitable long-term growth consistently in focus. Till date, the company has a 100% retention on their international partnerships.

The Vishal Group Foundation (VGF) is a private operating charity that catalyzes sustainability transition in Nepal via corporate, humanitarian and governance instruments. We invest in necessary and effective areas of sustainability transition in Nepal. Our Mission to catalyze sustainability transitions via corporate, humanitarian and governance instruments. We do so by partnering with veteran technical organizations that have a deep understanding of the Nepali landscape and context of sustainability and by leveraging existing institutional frameworks. My role in VGF has been to transition it to a foundation that invests in transformational rather than transactional working areas. I navigate the interests of our board and match it with the contemporary humanitarian needs of Nepali society in order to design and direct effective and impactful programs.
