Being a member of the Contract Administration Group, under direct supervision of Senior Administrators, my responsibilities for field inspection assignments for various construction site projects at different field locations included inspecting construction of various projects to ensure compliance with contract documents. Interpreting requirements and details of contract drawings and specifications; as well as verifying quantities, prepare progress reports and maintain documentation.As being the most senior inspector on sites I was also tasked with identifying and act on contractual and regulatory infractions and liaising with contractors and other stakeholders.MTO 2020 - 4072MTO 2021 - 4010MTO 2021 - 4013

With my time at Stantec, I was involved in many ongoing projects within and outside the City of Ottawa. The largest such project was the Preliminary Survey of Rock cuts in the Sault Ste. Marie District for the Ministry of Transportation.This project consisted of both preliminary and detailed field stability assessments of a rock slope and, if problems are identified, to assess possible remediation measures along major Canadian highways.During assessments of rock cuts, my responsibilities were to take a physical measurement of rock cut slopes and identify which areas of the rock cuts is determined hazardous using a RHON score. Once the slope was assigned a RHON score, my responsibility was to then manage a detailed record describing any possible hazards observed on the rock cuts.

During my stay with Amec Foster Wheeler, I given the role of a Field Technician and was involved in two large scale multi year projects.Field Technician October 2015 to August 2017Napanee Generating Station (Amec Foster Wheeler), Greater Napanee, ON, Canada This project consisted of the construction of a new power plant to provide 900 Megawatts of energy to households across southern and eastern Ontario. As a field technician, my responsibilities included QA & QC of the civil work. I was also involved in reviewing and reporting a variety of test results for the client. The testing and inspections included the inspection of subgrades, compaction testing and concrete temperature monitoring. Compaction testing was completed and reported for areas such as crane pads, access roads, turbine bases, and substations.Field Technician September 2015 to October 2015Confederation Line (Amec Foster Wheeler), Ottawa, ON, CanadaThis project consisted of inspecting the layout area for the future site of the Bayview station on the Confederation Line.My responsibilities were for overseeing drilling operations which included split spoon sampling and bore hole log entries. During drilling oversite, samples of 30 bore holes were obtained to a depth of 0-9 meters.
